ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS AND TEAMS:

The stewards have made a slight change to the Tier System in regards to team-based, endurance events:

The following system has been put in place;

Tier 1 - Distance penalty based on 30s of pace from the Stint-winner in that respective Lobby during the stint in which the SI takes place.

Tier 2 - Distance penalty based on 60s of pace from the Stint-winner in that respective Lobby during the stint in which the SI takes place.

Tier 3 - Distance penalty based on 120s of pace from the Stint-winner in that respective Lobby during the stint in which the SI takes place.

Again, this is for team-based, endurance events like VEC ONLY. Normal non-team based sprint events like TURN Masters or TURN GT3 will still use the same system as outlined above.

This was added prior to the VEC starting. This will also be included in the Penalty Code later today.

Thanks,
Steward Team

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS AND TEAMS:

The Stewards team has made a clarification to the penalty code regarding blocking. The clarified rule is as follows:

1.5.3) Aggressively blocking at the last minute whilst approaching the the finish line at the end of race. This includes causing door-to-door contact, or forcing the other car(s) off track.
NOTE: For 1.5.3, penalties may result in a specific penalty depending on the severity of the incident (instead of the standard Tier penalties). For example, swapping the position of the blocker/blockee.

The stewards are switching over to a Google Doc and it will be posted in the coming days. Thank you for your patience as we get this updated.

Cheers,

Steward Team.
