Some great racing last night. Mainly Race 1, Race 2 erm... yeah.
Race 1, was on my toes trying to stay constant, trying to not mess up at all. Had Zermatt down my neck until the unfortunate end when a curb decided to have him for breakfast. This left BAM ASIX to take his place where he had some great few laps when I think a curb also affected his drive. LRT Breeze then took 2nd place and was gaining ground. Now within 2 car lengths from me, I had to make some ground myself to secure 1st place. In order to do this, I had to perform some qualifying laps, banking around 4 of these laps, a gap of around 6 - 8 car lengths was made which stayed pretty much constant.
Race 2. There isn't much to say about this apart from it being a cluster *.... Off the line made up around 4 places due to slow starts and cars bogging down. After the first corner made up around another 4 places. Got up to around 11th with Zermatt on my tail when a sudden shunt left me off the track by someone. Going back onto the track not soon after, a forcing off the track and over a curb resulted in a Sim-twitch and a mini rolling-pile up. On the same lap, person who forced me off the track then pretty much went full throttle into the rear of my car on the last corner resulting with losing more and more places ending up have to catch and pass people again losing ground. Ended up 6th around 2000 ft behind Zermatt.
Well done to those on the podiums and a big congrats to Zermatt for the Race 2 win!
Thanks TURN for a good first race, second... maybe (If it was touring cars and everyone was called Jordan)
Hopefully race 2 will be more fruitful, see you all next week!
