Announcement: TURN Masters Season 3!

turnm31

At TURN, the holidays have come early for us as we have been preparing a new championship for everyone to get stuck into. We can proudly reveal that TURN Masters Season 3 will feature the Toyota GT86. Using the Toyota Finance 86 Championship as a base, we hope these popular cars will offer close, clean and competitive racing for all.

“The GT 86 has been conceived as an entirely driver-focused machine, designed to deliver the core qualities of the classic sports car experience. That means precise, instant response to the smallest throttle and steering inputs and the kind of performance that appeals to those for whom driving is a passion, not a necessity.

The GT 86 is built on a new platform, with a highly aerodynamic bodyshell stretched tight over the car’s mechanical elements. Rather than fitting a heavy, large capacity powertrain, Toyota has opted instead to go back to its sporting roots, installing a compact, front-mounted, free-revving petrol engine that drives the rear wheels.”

These races will be on Tuesdays at 8pm EST for the Americas, and Wednesdays at 8pm BST for Europe, kicking off on the 12th and 13th of January respectively. Also, this is our first opportunity to pilot a new championship on top of the standard drivers’, teams’ and privateers’ championships: hardcore, for those wanting to up the ante and drive with no assists!

As shown, we have a smorgasbord of strong tracks that we feel are most appropriate to showcase the car and to encourage the best action from all participants.
